With heavy hearts, the family wishes to announce the peaceful passing of Richard Joseph Morosini on August 20, 2021 at Physician’s Regional Hospital in Naples, Florida, at the age of 77 years, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer and kidney disease. He was born September 27,1943 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, the son of the late Irene Cralle (Morosini) and Ferlindo Morosini. Richard was a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be sadly missed. Richard is survived by his teen sweetheart, and wife of 57 years, Toni (Marie) Morosini, proud son Richard Jr. Morosini (Tabitha), and daughter Danielle Suriano (James). He was a much loved Nonno to his grandchildren Taylor and Nixon Suriano; brother to Marilyn Barre, special brother-in-law to Frank Shunock (Jane), and George Shunock (Cathy). Richard was predeceased by his brother-in-law Greg Barre, and his brother-in-law Pat Shunock. Richard will be sadly missed by his Sault family as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and their families. As per Richard’s wishes, there will be cremation and a scattering in the Gulf of Mexico.
