Jaime passed away peacefully at the NSHN-Blind River at the age of 47. She was the supportive mother of Marcus (Shania), Pyper and Cleo. Loving daughter of Paulette Morningstar (late Raymond). Free spirited sister of Pamela Morningstar. Beloved Auntie of Jaida and Raymond. Jaime was a special niece to the Bissaillon family: Danny, Lorne, Frank, Joey, Wilma, Delores, John, Marlene and Kenny as well as the Morningstar family: Sam, Wilfred, Tommy, Doris and Ida. Forever loved by her friends Patty Bissaillon, Stacey Schellekens and Amy Lafreniere. She will be missed by her fur grandbabies Frank, Stitch, Diesel and Honey.
Jaime fought hard during the last 2 years of her illness taking each day at a time. She had a great sense of humour and was extremely funny. There was never a dull moment when you were around her. She loved going for car rides with her daughters and her friends and always made sure they had Timmies for the trip.
Jaime was always there for anyone and would give the shirt off her back to those who needed it. Her door was always open, and she made sure her home was welcoming and inviting. She supported her children with all their endeavours and through all their adventures.
Jaime connected deeply with music, and we will forever miss hearing the tunes blaring from her car and in the house.
Thank you to the nurses and staff at NSHN-Blind River for the compassion and kindness shown to our mother and the support given to her family.
A celebration of Jaime’s life will be held at a later date.
