After a life long struggle with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy, Matt passed away with his step parents by his side on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 38.
Predeceased by his parents Donald "Duke" and Linda. Devoted and special brother of Sean. Loving step son of Albert Senecal and Lorraine Silk. Step brother of Shelly, Frank (Nella), Susan (Sandie) and Sean (Sheila). Lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Matt will be missed by the Cushley and Lappage families; especially Kyle and Alex.
Matthew lived life head on as he didn't let things get in his way. He loved the outdoors and wildlife. His happy place was camp Havilland and hunting camp Eton. He enjoyed the Greyhound games. He also had a great love for music.
Family and Friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E 705 759 2522) on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 10 am to 11:45 am. Memorial service to follow at 12 noon. Social distancing and masks are required. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
