Peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family, Brenda Moore, at the young age of 66, has gone home to be with her Lord Jesus.

She will forever be the cherished mother of Janice Doiron (Rob), Donald Michael Moore (Amanda), and Sandra Chester (Jim).  Devoted grandmother of Brady (Alexa), Melody (Ethan), Aidan (Samantha), Tristan, Kierston, Adam, Michael, Saleea, Leanna and Joya.  Beloved daughter of the late James Walton and late June Walton (nee Wickett).  Lovingly remembered by siblings Anola Johnson (Winston), Donna Hunt (late Orville), late William Walton, and Shawn Walton (Melanie).  Special Aunt to Jamie, Scott, Tommy, Jerry, Lucas, Christy, Natalie, Shayna, Kalen, Jessa, and Great Aunt to many.

Brenda was very much a people person and she loved to laugh.  Some of her favourite things were holiday dinners, birthday parties, camping at Pinecrest, weekend getaways and going on cruises.  She delighted in her children, and her grandchildren were the apple of her eye.  She was their number one fan and could often be found at the soccer field, horse arena, dance recital, or any event starring her grandchildren, cheering them on.  The family spent countless hours at Wendy’s and McDonald’s in the enjoyment of her company.  These times will be greatly missed.

Her best friend in the world was her sister Anola, also known as her “partner-in-crime”.  Together they shared many adventures and hilarious moments, the stories of which will never be forgotten.

New Life Church was an important part of Brenda’s life.  Sunday mornings she regularly arrived by Parabus and would worship her Saviour like a warrior.  Her laughter and shouts of joy will be remembered fondly by all.

Brenda was also an active member of the 50 Plus Club.  She always looked forward to the events and regular gatherings to play cards with her friends.  She was a long-time member of the YMCA, where she enjoyed working out in the gym, water aerobics and just floating around the pool with her family.

Although they were no longer united as a couple, Don Moore remained a close friend to Brenda.  She cared deeply for him as well as his spouse, Pauline.  She will be missed by her friends Patty, Elaine, Frannie, Maryann, Diane, Melody and many others.  Their acts of kindness were always appreciated.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kendall and homecare nurse Susan for going above and beyond, while caring for Brenda during her battle with pancreatic cancer.  Special thanks also go to Dr. George, Dr. Meng, and to the nurses and PSWs of SAH Floor 3C (especially Janice #2), for their tenderness and care during the final hours.  We would also like to thank Peggy and Pastor Matt of New Life Church, for going to the hospital to offer prayers and comfort to Brenda and family.

As per Brenda’s wishes, cremation has already taken place and there will be no funeral service.  A private Memorial is to be held for the immediate family and officiated by Pastor Matt Suopera.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

“Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”  John 16:22
