Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Leo Monette Sr. Loving mother of Leo (Cecile) and Jeanne (Kevin). Cherished Mama of Cerise (Mark), Chantal, and Jacob (Tiffany). Proud great grammy of Karissa, Rozalin, Robbie, Michaela and Jacob. Predeceased by her parents Kerttu and Erkki Paavola. Dear sister of Eila Annala (late Kalevi), late Raija Hynninen (Mark) and the late Alpo Paavola. Silja will be missed by her sister-in-law Marjorie and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
