Daniel James (Danny) Mitchell passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024, at the Sault Area Hospital. He was 74.
Danny was born June 26, 1950, in Sault Ste Marie to Fanny and Danny Mitchell. He spent his entire life in the Sault growing up and living in the City's West End. He attended King Edward Elementary School and Alexander Henry High School. He worked for several cleaning companies over the years. He also had a large paper route and delivered newspapers in his neighborhood for many years.
Danny is survived by his three sisters Edna Stephens (Mark) of Clovis, CA, Diane Sagle (Bob) of Sault Ste Marie and Dolly Tober (Jeff) of Rhinelander, WI as well as his brother Steve (Joan) of Scotland. Also surviving are a niece, six nephews and other extended family members.
Respecting Danny's wishes, there will be no public funeral service.
