Morley was very active in the community from square dances, hockey, baseball, snowmobile club and curling. He acted as treasurer for Cloudslee United Church for over a half of century and served on the Bruce Mines School Board, Arena Board and with the Plummer Additional Township both as a councillor and cemetery board member. He was a member of the Dyment Masonic Lodge for well over 60 years.
He enjoyed many hours camping and fishing at Tunnel Lake and Rock Lake. He made sure to include his grandchildren and great grandchildren on many occasions.
He and Betty took many excursions on the Sunshine Tours with their friends. Together they had wonderful experiences and saw a wide variety of locations in Canada and the US. Their ultimate trip was to the UK to attend their grandson’s wedding. They took in sights in Glasgow and Edinburgh, Liverpool and Cornwall.
A trickster, joker and a tease, traits he has passed onto his children and grandchildren. We will miss the good times and laughter. He will be dearly missed by his wife, children, grand and great grandchildren, family and friends.
The family wishes to thank SAH, 3C staff and doctors Meligrana, Bowen and Beuhner as well as the staff of ARCH Hospice. They would also like to thank the family doctors, Meuller and Haaplala for their many years of care.
