It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the FJ Davey Home, who just celebrated her 90th birthday on November 12. Dear mother of David (Tracey), Michael (Karen), Brian, and Paul Miller (Shari). Missed by her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents John and Cecilia Punch. Sister of Louise Blair (late Hollis), Albert Punch (Joan) and predeceased by Tom Punch (Peggy), Leo Punch (Jean), Joan MacDonald, Reginald Punch and Hugh Punch (Claire). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
The Catholic Church was a significant part of mom’s life - her faith was unwavering. She loved music and singing her favourite songs, especially at Christmas time. She had a great sense of humour that will be missed by all.
A private family service will be held. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District would be appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to all staff on Birch Lane 2 and Birch Lane 3 who supported and took care of mom during her eight years of residency at the FJ Davey Home.
