MILLER, Beatrice Ruth (nee Provencher)

Passed away in her 85th year with her sense of humour and zest for life intact on August 29, 2004 at the General Hospital. Supported by her loving children Mary Trebb (Ron), Anne Magill (Barry), Paula Worton (Tim), Kathy Nyman (Bryan), Bill Miller (Brenda) and Roberta “Bizz” Paquette (Claude). Wonderful Grandma Bea “Grizz” to Matthew, Andrew, Christopher, Kelly, Lindsay, Kevin, Melanie, Stephen, Bill, Joanne, Gordon, Michelle, Chantal, Joe and Renee. Bea was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 1978. As the eldest of the Blind River Baker’s Dozen, created by Lester and Blanche Provencher, she was an integral part of the lives of her siblings and their spouses Fred, Flora (late Walter), Esther (John), late Claire (late Tom), John (late Theresa), Phillip (Joey), Marguerite (Manny), Paul (Veronica), Henry (Mary), Eugene, Eileen (Larry) and Tom (Anne Marie). Treasured aunt to a multitude of nieces and nephews who will miss her terribly. Bea enjoyed a full life nursing, raising a family and befriending many. She will always be remembered for her limitless supply of baking, her love of games, especially bridge and scrabble and her warm and supportive ways. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 from 6-9 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated from St. Jerome’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at 10 am. Rev. George LaPierre officiating. Memorial donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen would be appreciated.
