Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital after an extended illness, with his family by his side on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the age of 68. Louis is now resting in the arms of his mom and dad, Victoria and Attilio Mezzomo. He is the much loved brother of Laura Sarlo (Frank). Proud uncle of Andrea Sarlo - Seifer (Ilya) and Frank Sarlo (Shannon). Special great uncle to Benjamin, Matthew, Patrick and Lindsay. A private family service will take place with Fr. Hamish Currie officiating. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Meligrana, Dr. Bowen and nurses on 3A and 3B, especially Carly, Emma and Amelia for the care and compassion given to Lou and his family. A special thank you to the Urology team for their care during Lou's many visits. Many thanks to all the staff at Maple View for Lou's care at the nursing home.
