It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fay at the age of 91.
Fay was predeceased by her husband, Hilliard Archibald Meredith. Also predeceased by her companion Alfred Gagnon. Loving mother of Brian, Ann (Hank) and Bruce (Tammy). Brother to the late Douglas Goodmurphy. Grandma of Jesse (Krystal), Kaylee (Justin), Marcus (Emily), Kaden and Jordan (Megan). Great Grandmother to Jayla. Fay will also be greatly missed by her many foster grandchildren she loved throughout the years. Special friend to the late, Barb Goodmurphy, Roberta and Grant Harrison and Bea Mearow.
Fay loved to laugh and was an incredibly sweet and kind woman. In her spare time, she could be found playing cards with her friends or foster grandchildren. Fay also enjoyed travelling and spent a lot of time camping at Ranger Lake and Thessalon. She would also frequently visit Florida in the winter months.
Friends and family are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522) on Thursday, January 6, 2021 from 1 pm until time of service at 2:30 pm. with Helen Smith Officiating. Covid rules and regulations apply. Masks and social distancing required. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to Willow Grove United Church would be appreciated by the family.
