After a long and courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday July 18, 2021, at the age of 61. Loving husband of Lynn. Father of Tanya (Tom), Terry (Cody) and Tiffany (Ben). Poppa of Autumn (Dakota), Kristen, Aspen, Nicholas, Tatum, Sage, the late Chinoodin, the late bean and Havoc. Great Poppa of Teslyn Rose. Special father-in-law of Jeremy Jones, Kris Fenn and Bryan Belleau. Known as Father and Poppa to many around the world. Son of Mary Allen (late Jim) and the late Ronald Mearow (late Rose). Brother of Anne (George), Richard (Mavis), Kerry (Lillian), Fred, the late Bobby, Vicki, Fred, Glenn (Arlene), late Rhonda (Dustin), Patty (Raymond), Darrell and the late Michael Shawn. Son-in-law of the late Wesley and the late Victoria (late Bill). Brother-in-law of Cheryl (late Butch), Kenny and Lori. Uncle to many many nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe will be remembered by his special friends Clinton Robinson and Andy Larocque.
As per Joe’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service and cremation will take place. A sacred fire has been lit in Joe’s honour.
