Peacefully at ARCH, surrounded by family on Sunday, September 8th, just 20 days shy of her 94th birthday.
Special friend of Noel Paul. Predeceased by her husbands Lorne Gagnon (1987) and Jack Mearow (1996). Loving mother of Peter Mearow (Laurie). Proud grandmother of Mick (Mel) and Samantha, great grandmother of Aislinn, Ella, Alex and Eris. Cherished aunt of Colleen Laliberte (Mike). Special aunt of many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of George (late Shirley) of California. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Lena Ballstadt. She will be remembered by her church family and numerous friends she met along the way.
Bea enjoyed her many hobbies, cross country skiing, square dancing, travelling the world, time at her cottages in Prince and Ranger Lake. She was the kindest, gentle and most caring soul.
Family and friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East, 705-759-2522) on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. Rev. Glen Eagle officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
