Passed away peacefully at home. Loving husband and best friend of Mary McMinn (Sweeney) for 56 years. Very proud and loving father of Tom (Anna) and Kim (Bowen). Adoring Papa of Jordan (Willow), Justin, and Brianne. Favourite Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Barb and Ted. Big brother of Judy and David.
His family was everything to him and he was our everything. Always there with an offside joke, an ear, and a voice for his family in need – there weren’t many problems in this world Papa Mcgyver couldn’t solve. His strong, yet loving and soft presence will forever be in our hearts.
Papa, you made our world so beautifully vibrant. Each night when the sky changes colour and the sun starts to fade, we will find your colours dancing so vibrantly in the sky.
