Peacefully at Matthews Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the age of 67.
Beloved wife of 34 years to Keith McKnight. Loving mother of Monique Greiss (Art) and the late Nicole Depaz. Proud grandmother of Philip, Javier, Zephorah and Jotham. Loving daughter of the late Alan and Margaret MacQuarrie. Dear sister of the late Charlie MacQuarrie (Alice), Marie Newell (Greg MacLeod), Donald MacQuarrie, the late John MacQuarrie (Gloria) and Wayne MacQuarrie (Celest). Sister-in-law of Garry McKnight(Laurie), Cheryl Shellhorn, Sharon Duguay (late Art) and Shauna-Lee Martin.
Margaret loved knitting, cross stitching, listening to fiddle music and was always up for a good practical joke.
At Margaret's request there will not be a funeral service. Interment at Port Findlay Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E. 705-759-2522). Memorial contributions (payable online or by cheque) to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
