On May 23, 2024, John passed away at the Sault Area Hospital.
He lived a good life, and he leaves behind his 3 sisters, Elizabeth Sawyer, Bonnie Corkum and Katie Miedema, as well as 1 brother, Bill McGonigal. He was predeceased by his parents Edward & Edith McGonigal.
