Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, November 9, 2003 at the age of 61. Loving wife of Gord Pickard. Cherished daughter of Dorethy Montgomery. Beloved mother of Perry (Rhonda), Kevin (Cindy) and Danny (Shelly). Step mother of Harmon, Vicki (Pat), Brenda (Windall), Lana, Gordie and Terry. Grandmother of Jenna, Joshua, Leah, Michael, Connor and Shaila. Step grandmother of Jeremy, Jessica, Jacob, Tara, Matthew, Dylan, David and Ben. Beloved sister of Terry Kennedy (Olga). Aunt to Becky, Tammy and Carla. At Sheila’s request a private funeral service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, November 12, 2003. Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating. Memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family.
