It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda at the Sault Area Hospital with her family by her side on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Born December 7, 1962 to Elizabeth “Betty” Gray and Clifford Vienneau. Mother of Shawn Wiles Jr. and the late infant Michael. Long time companion of Mike Storey. Stepmother of Rebecca Lynn Storey. Gramma of Jack, Harrison, Chloe, Addison, Brooklyn and Carter. She was so proud of them; they were the apples of her eyes. Special Nan of Roger Vienneau Jr., Tabatha Vienneau, Danny Vienneau Jr. (Melissa Hurley) and Jade Patterson. Predeceased by her brothers Roger Vienneau Sr. (Dawna Graham), Danny Vienneau (Julie Patterson) and Lil Dan St. Jules. Special niece of Emily Laitinen (Peter) along with many aunts, uncles and cousins in New Brunswick. Blood sister of Shelly Laroue (Michael) “friends by chance, sisters by choice”. Special auntie of Erika Johnson and Ashlee Laitinen. She will also be missed by her dog, Mila.

Linda graduated from hairdressing school in 1986 and went on to own her own salon. She was always happy to see you and greeted you with her beautiful smile and bubbly personality. She enjoyed cold “bevies” on her pontoon and belting out tunes on her karaoke machine. But above all, she enjoyed spending time with many friends and family on Trout Lake. As she often yelled “Wooo Hooo”, you knew she was having a good time!

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to the staff, doctors and nurses in ICU at the SAH for their care and compassion shown to Linda during her stay. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758). www.northwoodfuneral.com

Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived when I was strong. WoooHoo
