Passed away at home on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the age of 79.
Beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Gibb). Son of the late Emilio and Giuseppina Mauro. Brother of the late Vincenzo, late Pasquale (late Annina), late Antonio (late Linda) and Maria Mirabelli (Ernesto). Son-in-law of the late Robert Gibb (late Kathleen). Brother-in-law of the late Morgan Gibb and Kristel Thompson (Derrick). Mario will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and his nephew. A private family service has been held in the chapel of the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E 705-759-2522). Burial Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Maple Leaf Cemetery (Maple Leaf Rd., Echo Bay). Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
