Beloved son of Iona (late Carl). Loving brother of Ray (Steph and Tiff), Syd (Tasha) and Kristiani. Grandson of the late Alex McBain (late Mary Ann, late Edith). Nephew of Betty (Georges), late Ted (Evelyn), Greg (Louise), late Donna (Sam), Kathleen (Bob and the late Peter), late Bill and the late Margret Ann.
Special nephew of Paul and Barb Wilhelm who always greeted us at the Toronto airport or drove us to his appointments at the Sick Kids Hospital and later at the Hugh MacMillan Centre. Special uncle and cousin to many.
He had many friends, many street brothers and sisters. Especially Heidi (Shaun) whom he adored. There are many more but I'd be writing all night. Just know he loved and cared for everyone of you. He would help you with what he could. If you were hungry he fed you, if you were cold he gave you the shirt off his back, if you were homeless he tried to find you shelter from the storm. He had a heart of gold.
My one fur baby Diamond went to be with him after his tragic and untimely death. My other fur baby Dukes misses them both dearly.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial donation (payable by cheque or online) to the Sick Kids Hospital, Hugh MacMillan Centre or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
