In loving memory of Verna Masters who passed away on Tuesday August 3, 2004 at the age 83 at the General Hospital ICU. Verna is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years George, daughters Vivian Warren (Mike) of Lindsay, Laurie Masters (Sandra) of the Sault and brother Lorne Cliff (Vera) of Sudbury. Verna was welcomed in heaven by her first husband Sydney Aistrop, sons Brian (Buster) and Clifford Aistrop, daughter Cynthia, brother Elly (Bill) Cliff. Verna was a special grandmother to Todd Aistrop (Judy) of Sudbury, Corey Rice (Sheldon) of New Brunswick, Randall and Peter Warren of Lindsay and Laurie White (JD) of Sarnia and a special great grandmother to Eric Aistrop, Johnny Rice and Jim White. Lovingly remembered by daughters-in-law Lynda and Judy, many nieces and nephews, dear friend Phyllis Whalen and others. She will be missed by brother-in-law Don Masters (Val), sister-in-law Norah Long and other in-laws from England. Special thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses and patient friends at Renal Dialysis who were so special to Verna and cared for her so well for the past few years. A memorial service to celebrate Verna’s life will be held in the Ball Room of the Sault Ste. Marie Holiday Inn on Saturday August 7, 2004. Rev. Phil Miller will offer a memorial tribute at 11 am, followed by a time for fellowship and refreshments. Memorial Donations to the Renal Dialysis Unit of the Sault Area Hospitals or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
