With broken hearts, we regretfully announce the peaceful passing of Gregory Charles Martin, 60 years old at the Sault Area Hospital.
Greg lived his entire life making an impact on the many people that came around him. He was the most loyal, kind, strong, smart, hardworking, dependable, funny, trustworthy person that anyone could envision.
Greg devoted his life ensuring his beloved wife, Carrie (nee Simon) was happy, healthy and content, at all costs. Carrie was his world and everyone saw that by the way he loved her endlessly.
Greg was the best father to Michelle, Erica, and Brianne. Anyone who knew him, knew that his kids were the light of his eyes. He was an outstanding grandfather to Austin, Silas and Aria. They were loved by him beyond words. Greg was the brother to Martin and Tracey. He was also a cherished nephew to Glen (Uncle Chuck).
Greg enjoyed his life driving trucks, being surrounded by family and good friends, a great fishing spot with fish biting in record time, hunting with Carrie and friends, or sitting in a tree stand in the early hours of the morning with his deer call. Whatever he did, he did it with grace, a cold beer in hand and a smile on his face. He was one of a kind, and he will be missed by many people that had the privilege to meet him.
