(Many year member of the C.W.L at both St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Newcastle and St. Monica's Parish in Wawa. Long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary Legion in Wawa) on Thursday, July 14th, 2005 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 75th year. Predeceased by her dear husband Harry Mann. Loving mother of Elizabeth (Betty) and her husband Rick Kirkwood of Nestleton, Ontario, Beverly and her husband Terry Spencer of Spanish, Ontario and Barbara and her husband Tom Malone of Newtonville, Ontario. Cherished grandma of her five granchildren and three great grandchildren. Rose is survived by her brother Michael Neveau of Goulais Bay and sister Eileen Cooper of Sault Ste. Marie and predeceased by her sister Mary Jane of Goulais River. She will be sadly missed by all of her extended family and friends. Friends will be received at Newcastle Funeral Home, 386 Mill St. S. (just north of 401 at the lights) on Friday, July 15th, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with prayers at 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church (214 King Ave. E., Newcastle) on Saturday, July 16, at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
