Passed away peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in her 84th  year. Beloved wife of the late Donald. Dear mother of Kenneth Hugh MacLeod (Annie) of Vernon, B.C., Ann Christine Callon (Shawn) of Kitchener, Ontario and Catherine Mhairi MacLeod of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Loving grandmother of Renee Marples (Adam) of Vernon, B.C., Meghan and Erin Callon of Kitchener, Ontario, Mairi and Liam Morassut of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Annie Constable of Scotland. Sister of John Constable (Jean) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, late Elizabeth MacLeod (late Willie) of Scotland, late Anna Clark (Jim) of Scotland and Hugh Constable (Jessie) of England. Remembered lovingly by her many nieces, nephews and good friends. Helen emigrated in 1953 bringing with her a knowledge and love of Scottish heritage to this community. She was the Highland Dance teacher to several generations of dancers in Scotland and Ontario. In 1993 she was awarded the Canada 125 Commemorative Medal for her contributions to the Scottish Arts in Northern Ontario. She was a past matron of the Eastern Star. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 1 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society, FJ Davey Home or the Canadian Down Syndrome Society would be appreciated by the family.
