MACKINNON, Helen Isobel

Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 with family at her side at the age of 90.  Wife of the late Haig.  Dearest mother of Barb Bowman (Doug), Gary MacKinnon of Rydal Bank, Donna Misztal (Frank) of Kingston, Lorna Fedorowich (Rick), and Ron MacKinnon (Virginia).  Much loved grandma of Greg Bowman (Sue), Kevin Bowman (Michelle) of Cambridge, Ben MacKinnon, Jeremy MacKinnon (Sandra), Christopher Misztal (Julia), Andrew Misztal of Kingston, Nikki Vanderwey (Ron) of Thunder Bay, Chrissy Thornton (Shawn), and Jennifer MacKinnon.  Proud great grandma of Ethan, Evan, Elyce, Maddy, Bryan, Lincoln, Jacob, Jonathon, Jack, Ella and Jada.  Dear sister of Iola Orr (late Neil), and Bernie Matheson (Gordon) and predeceased by Alvin Robinson (late Viola) and Ruby Shuttleworth (late Alex).  Survived by her brother-in-law Lorne Smith and sisters-in-law Evelyn Smith and Martha Bartlett.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 10:30 –12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Mrs. Janet Norman officiating. Spring interment Sands Cemetery.
