Thelma Gladys MacKay passed away peacefully at the Finnish Resthome on Friday, April 12, 2002 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Douglas MacKay. Dear mother of Cheryl Nelson (Bill), and Karen Nisbet (Rob). Loving grandmother of Lisanne Lamond (Alan), Graham Nelson (Tina), Douglas Nelson, Kenneth Nelson and Kate Nisbet. Great grandmother of Taylor and Kayleigh Lamond and Connor and Brooke Nelson. Themla is predeceased by her parents Dave and Minnie Law and by her siblings Erie Milligan, Margaret Parker, Jennie Law, Beau Law, Leola Lessard, Bordon Law, and Walter Law (Dorothy). Sister-in-law of Ellis MacKay and Charles Wright. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 16 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Burton officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Mauno Kaihla Koti Nursing Home or to the Children's Rehabilitation Centre would be appreciated.
