It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Chester Keith MacIntyre on June 20, 2024 with his best friend and wife for 50 years, Brenda and his family by his side. Born on November 21, 1942, he passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare, Palliative Care Center at the age of 81. Loving father of Christopher (Phyllis), Jamie and Phillip (Doreen). Proud grandfather of Emily, Benjamin, Olivia, Chelsea, Brianna, Michael (Lauren) and great grandfather of two, Dear brother of Sandra Johnston (Ian), Gordie MacIntyre (Judy), Cindy Leffler (Ken) and predeceased by Stan MacIntyre (Laurel), Norman MacIntyre, Cecil MacIntyre (Eilene), Gerald MacIntyre (Marie) and Jack MacIntyre. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Stan and Hannah MacIntyre and beloved son-in-law of the late Bertha Ciaschini.
Chester was well known for his excellent craftsmanship, carrying the synonymous business “Chester MacIntyre Flooring” for over 50 years. We would like to thank all the doctors and nursing staff on the 3rd floor of Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare - Palliative Care Centre for their care.
