It is with profound sadness and grief that we announce the passing of our mom on May 22, 2024, at the age of 81.
Beloved wife of Thomas Luxton. Cherishes and loved mother of Tim, Chris (Adrienne), Bernadina, Lyndeelou (Rick) and Tammy. Grandma of Christina (Maksym), Rocky, Jennifer (Steve), and John (Alisha). Great grandmother of 9.
Dear sister of the late Sid Bolton (Edith), Barbara LeBlanc (late Armand), late Marilyn McCulligh (Roy), and Joanne Schmidt (late Ward).
Our mom enjoyed and loved her family, they were her life. She worked at the Salvation Army Thrift Store for 18 years. She loved working with the young offenders. Our mom was the most unjudgmental person with the biggest heart. She was loved by her family, many nieces, and nephews, and will be missed dearly.
A Celebration will be announced at a later date.
The family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital 3B and ICU Doctors and Nurses. You all are truly angels here on earth. The compassion and care that our mom received was above and beyond. We cannot even begin to express how grateful we are for everything they did for our mom and us. A special thank you to O’Sullivan Funeral Home.
The family has asked that any memorial donations be made directly to O’Sullivan Funeral Home (payable by cheque only). These contributions will be put towards a St. Vincent Place dinner, in honour of Patricia. For over 7 years, O’Sullivan’s has attended St. Vincent Place every 3 months to feed over 150 people.
