It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother, matriarch, friend and neighbour at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Anton (Tony). Mother of Angelika (Peter Jackson), Susan (Peter Van Ballegooie), Peter (Janet) and the late Tom. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Alex, Courtney, Angelika, Tyler and Cody and her family in Germany. Mary loved spending time outdoors and had a lifelong passion for gardening. Everyone will remember the special times spent with Mary at Pancake Bay as well as all the laughter and conversations we shared with her while enjoying one of her remarkable meals. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Chapel at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 12:00 noon with Father Paul Conway officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. We would like to extend our utmost gratitude to Dr. L. Bondar and the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Sault Area Hospital for their extraordinary care and compassion.
