Ended her life journey on Sunday, August 30, 2020 peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital in her 91st year.
She was the much-loved wife of Ants for 57 years (deceased 2008).
Helly was born July 21, 1930 and was the only child of Emil and Hille Hill. Survived by relatives and friends in Finland, Estonia, USA and Canada.
Living most of her life in Sault Ste. Marie, Helly was well known and respected in the Finnish and Estonian communities, serving and volunteering in many capacities.
Helly was a beautiful, thoughtful lady who made others feel special. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her well, especially Kaarlo and Barbara Tuomi and family.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm. at Greenwood Cemetery (maximum 100 people). Pastor Brad Mittleholtz officiating. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
