 It is with great heartache that we announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mother, auntie and friend.  Gabriella Longarini passed peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH), in her 75th year. She leaves behind her cherished sons Richard and Robert (Diane).  She was the loving wife of the late Carlo Longarini.  She also had a loving brother from Italy, Sergio Calliari, her sister-in-law Elaina and nephew Marco Calliari.  She is also survived by two sister-in-laws Rita Foster (late John), JoAnne Longarini, late Gino Longarini, late Armando Longarini, and late Bruno Longarini.  She also leaved behind her loving nieces and nephews Timothy, Donna and Andrew Longarini in Kamloops B.C.  She was the daughter of the late Vittario and Maria Calliari.  Daughter-in-law of the late Julio and Elvira Longarini. Sadly missed by her Uncle Renzo Calliari, and cousins Nicola Calliari and Maria Grazia from Italy.  Also remembered by nieces and nephews Krista (Daryl), Mary Ellen, Francine, Jeffrey, David (Tania) from Sault Ste. Marie, ON, and Shelly from Toronto, ON.  Gabriella was all about her family.  She cherished her husband and sons with all her heart.  She was a kind and good hearted woman.  Gabby will be greatly missed by her sons, relatives, and friends, and her furry friends Bandit, Pandy, Mimi and Princess forever.  Thank you to everyone who came to see her as she had a brief struggle with cancer.  Thank you to Dr. Buehner and staff at ARCH, and the staff of 3rd floor at Sault Area Hospital.  We are so thankful for them for the assistance they provided on Gabriella’s journey.  Also, we are so grateful to long-time friends of Gabriella for the help and assistance to Alfred and Ilvana Coletti.  Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 7 – 9 pm.  Funeral service to be held from the chapel on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11 am.   Memorial contributions to ARCH or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be appreciated.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
