Frederick Lloyd, born December 18, 1923, Ty Bach, Wales, U.K., died May 31, 2018, London, Ontario, Canada.  Husband of Barbara May Linsdell  ( d. 2004). Father to Glyn (Nancy) of Jasper, Alberta and Meryl (Ridley) of Southampton, Ontario. Grandfather to David and Uncle to Robert Evans of Llanishen, Wales.  Predeceased by sister, Margaret Davies of Cardiff, Wales.  Fred served in the British Army 1941 to 1947, stationed for 5 years in Italy where he developed a love of the Italian Language and Opera.  He became a minster in 1952 in the Congregational Church of England. In 1964, he immigrated to Canada, with his family, and served with the United Church of Canada, living in Prince Edward Island and Ontario. A theologian, historian and philosopher, Fred loved an intellectual challenge. He lived by faith and died with hope. A Celebration of Life will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 303 Riverside Dr., London, Ontario on Saturday, June 9th, 2018.
