1934 – 2024
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the age of 90. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Roderick “Rod” who predeceased her on April 2, 2021. Survived by her three wonderful daughters Maureen Little-Bould (Keith Tarchuk), Karen DiCandia (Carlo) and Teresa Little (Tony Zappacosta). Proud Grandmother and Nana of Jennifer Little (Matthew Sobchuk), Ryan Little, Nicholas Dicandia (Megan), Bradley DiCandia, Matthew Peloso, Kassie Peloso, Michael and Bryan Zappacosta. Great Nana/Gram Gram of Thayden, Gabriel, Quinn and Tuukka. Predeceased by her parents, Peter Trus and Mary (Potoczny), brother John Trus (Mary) and her sister Stella Mattalo. Survived by her brother Donald (late Brenda). Predeceased by her in-laws George and Isabella (Albert), brother-in-law Lawrence (Helen) and sister-in-law June Kielty (Jack). She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and God children.
Cremation has taken place and per Anna's wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Thank you to Dr. Carrie Kuntz for her many years of care, Dr. Landy, Dr. George and Dr. Sharp for everything they did to ensure the best care and Anna's wishes were honoured.
