Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the age of 73 years.

Beloved husband of 47 years to Melodie Lewis (nee Greer) forever. Cherished father of Michael Lewis (Kathy) and Tammy (Mark). Loving grandfather of Meghan and Matthew Tarantini.  Loving brother of Laurie (Deborah), David Lewis, Jean Bolduc (Darlene).

Duncan enjoyed spending his time working on vehicles, listening to music while puttering around in the garage, and relaxing out at camp.  He loved spending time with Melodie and the many animals they cared for so dearly.  Duncan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Laurentian University, and additionally, a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Diploma from Sault College. Duncan served as reservist who held the rank of sergeant in the 49th Field Regiment RCA., prior to becoming a long-time employee of the Algoma Steel Corporation.

Dad was a great mentor and always offered up his wisdom and advice. He was compassionate, caring, thoughtful, intelligent and had a very witty sense of humor. He will be missed by loved ones.
Son of the late Irene Bolduc (Gus) and the late Rodrick Lewis.  Brother-in-law to Linda, Gail, Darlene, Susan, and Lance. Uncle to Diane Lewis, Linda Neilson (Martin), Vicki Thompson (Adam), Raymond Aubrey, Winona Hutchinson (Steve), John Philips and daughter Brenda Nelson. Special Uncle to many foster children over the years. Especially cherished daughter Colleen Schell (Mike) and Popa to Alysia, Hannah, and Ashlyn “Red”.
