It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Jerry Legacy in his home at the age of 70.
He was the son of the late James and Louise Legacy. Devoted husband to the late Gwen Legacy. Proud father to Frank (Sherry), George (Christina), and Loralee Massicotte (Paul). Cherished brother of Bernice Guitard (late Del), Edward Pitre (Gertrude), Roger (Lynn) and Nancy Sangelais. Much loved grandfather to Austin, Brandon, Danielle, Cheney, Taylor, Porter, Silas and Malachi. Great grandfather to Oliver and the late Willow Rose. Brother-in-law of Grant, late Gail Swanson (late Bruce), Gary, late Gerry Collar, Joan Wyslocky (Roman), the late Brenda LeClaire, Pam Rioux (Phillippe), Charles, Debbie, Loveday Colasacco (Nick) and Georgina Veith (Martin). Son-in-law of the late George and Estelle Ross. Jerry will be missed by his Bethany Baptist Church family. Jerry was a cherished friend, co-worker uncle and cousin to many.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held the following day (Wednesday, August 2, 2023) at 11:00 am at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel with Pastor John Howarth Officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Algoma Pregnancy Centre or the Northshore Family Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
