At the age of 66, of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, passed away quietly and unexpectedly on the afternoon of Saturday November 3, 2018. Marlene was born in Kirkland Lake Ontario on October 17, 1952. She later move to Elliot Lake, Ontario, where she met her loving husband of 42 years. Marlene was married to Tim Latendresse on November 5, 1976. Marlene was a nurse, a business owner, a manager, a hobbyist, a homemaker, a friend, a confidant, a wife, a mother and a grandmother. Marlene is survived by her husband Tim, her children Timothy (Krista) and Jennifer (Darren), her grandchildren Olivia, Jyden and Emileigh, her siblings Cecile (Ray), Emile (Pat) and Ron (Chris). Predeceased by her parents Jean and Edward Proulx and sibling Marcel. Her strength and generosity will be forever missed. Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018 in Sault Ste. Marie at Precious Blood Cathedral (778 Queen St. E.).
