Sadly but peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 and with her family at her side, Jackie (81) passed away to be with her heavenly father.
Dearest and independent mother of Diane (Peter), and Clayton (Vicky) and big sister to the late Roland (Pat) and the late Roger (Cheryl). Special daughter of the late Fern and Aline.
Mom was nurturing, loving and always put our needs before her own. She was there to share the happy moments with us and as well when we needed consoling or a shoulder to cry on. We know her wisdom, strength, courage and love will continue to comfort us. She was forgiving and generous to family and friends who were always welcome at her table for her Spaghetti Sauce. She loved to reminisce and remind us of the days her large family gathered together for many occasions where they would sing their French songs.
We wish to thank the ICU staff for giving us a few more days with mom, the staff of 3B and especially Dr. Booth and Jill.
Following Jackie's wishes there will be no service or donations in her name but rather she would want us to raise a glass, have a laugh when you're with the one's you love.
