LANAWAY, Mary

Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the age of 93. She is now reunited with her soul mate and the love of her life, William “Bill” Lanaway. Loving mother of Brent Lanaway (Carol), Pam Lanaway (Darrell MacInnes), Sandra Muncaster (Jeff), late Michael Lanaway and the late Randy Lanaway (Liz). Proud grandmother of four, great grandmother of five, great great grandmother of one and one on the way. Mary’s greatest passion in life was gardening. She enjoyed spending hours in her garden tending to the flowers, it brought her so much joy. When she wasn’t able to garden during the winter months and throughout, Mary enjoyed curling up with a good book. She was a great listener and the go to for any needed advice or just a listening ear.
