Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home the Lord opened the gates to heaven to let a very special angel in my mother and best friend I was so broken hearted that I was not by your side in your final moments to say goodbye and tell you how much I loved you. But I know I was always in your heart like you are always in mine and I’ll hold you there in until I can hold you again in heaven.

Mom is the wife and the best friend to Gordon Lamming for 61 years. She was the loving mother of Debbi Neely (Darrell) and Peggy Lamming-Naccarato (Frank). Proud grandmother of Gordon Neely (Samantha Zorzi). Special long-time friend to Gordon and Betty, Nick Swazovich. She was the beloved daughter to the late Albert and Mable Brydges, daughter-in-law to the late Frank – Anna Lamming, she was the sister to the late Bert Brydges (Rhonda), Late Bob Brydges (Karen), Barbara Lingard (Lornie), Bruce (Janet), Barry (Ida), Sister-in-law to Marion Calvert (late Bob), late Jack Lamming (Virginia), late Donna(late AL Ryan), Doris (late John), Walter (Brenda), Chester Lamming, a special aunt to many nieces, nephew.

Mom started looking forward at a very young age to help her family then went to be a Health Care Aid for the F.J. Davey Home for 45 years she loved her job and was an extremely passionate and caring nurse and went above and beyond for all her residents, she trained many young nurses well working there and in the end some even took care of her, they all made her fill special, said they were blessed to have known her she was truly loved by everyone that came into her path. We will all miss mom during the holidays which she loved to decorate, we will also miss her baking that was second to none. Mom also loved country music and was a big fan of George Jones, her favourite song was He stopped loving her today. Rest in peace now Momma we all love you and we all know you have entered the kingdom of heaven.

The Lamming family would like to thank all the staff at the F.J. Davey Home 3rd floor BirchLane for the compassionate and excellent care they provided to momma. Thank you and God bless.
