With deep love, caring and immense sadness, our family announces the peaceful passing of Eldon on Friday, November 22, 2024 in his 75th year at Pathways Retirement Residence.
Cherished and only son of the late Alex and late Althea. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Madelyn (John) of Kelowna B.C. and Gloria (Emil) of Batchawana Bay. Special uncle and great-uncle of Tim Krupka, Liza McBride (Jeff), Bob Krupka (Lena), Ron Krupka (Yen), Suzanne Wood (Tim), Sarah Strano (Jay) and their children. Adoring nephew of the late Bob and the late Mary Elliot and close cousin to Susan Nicholson (Calvin), late Barry Elliot (Susan), Don Elliot (Dixie) and Joan Carpenter (Dave).
A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Friends and family are invited to park their cars and gather at the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel, and for those who are able, invited to walk in procession behind the Hearse to the graveside. Following the service, friends and family are invited to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E.) for a time of fellowship and refreshments. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Eldon was well-liked by everyone he met and is now walking the streets of Heaven, probably too fast for anyone who wants to join him!
