Johannes (John) Lajunen passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at the Finnish Resthome (MKK). He was 91 years old. Loving husband of the late Irinja. Beloved father of Pentti (Mirjam) of Sault Ste. Marie, Leo (Merja) of Napanee, Martti of Madoc, daughter in law Leena of Toronto and predeceased by his son Pauli (Armi) of Belleville and his daughter Iris. Dear Pappa of Anita, Steven, John (Tracy), Danny, late Lily Moore (Steve), Kai, Rachel and Candice. Great grandfather of Alexia. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters in Finland. Also survived by many family members and friends in Finland, Canada and USA. A funeral service will be held at the Finnish Pentecostal Church (891 Peoples Road) on Saturday, April 20 at 11 am. Pastor Rudolf Hyvarinen officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association or to the Finnish Pentecostal Church would be appreciated by the family.
