Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday October 14, 2022, at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of the late Dolores ‘Bo’ Lajoie. Much loved father of Chris (Linda), Martin (Lely), Michele (André), Denise (late Jason) and Tim (Gail). Cherished grandfather to Raili, Jason, Ben (Stephanie), Jenna (Bryant), Julie (Joel), Nikki, Danielle, Sydney, T.J. (Jaime), Dustin (Cass) and the late Kyle. Great grandfather of Paige, Cole, Eden, Andie, Jewel, Jemma, Hunter, Ainsley, Olive and Eliot. He will be greatly missed by Betty, the sweetheart of his later years.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Viola Lajoie. Dear brother of the late Charles (June), late Albert (Bea), Roland (Barb), late Aimee (Roberta), late Cathy (Rhea) and Cecile (Joe).
Leo will be remembered by his nieces, nephews and neighbors
Since childhood, Algoma Mill’s camp was the place he loved to be, his happy place. He will be missed by his many friends who reside in the area, but he leaves a legacy of wonderful memories.
