Peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, August 10, 2004. Loving mother of Riitta Lahti (Kari) of Helsinki, Finland and Irma "Talla" Tuomi (Erik) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Cherished grandmother of Mikko, Jani (Jennifer), Mika and Kai. A private funeral service was held on Friday, August 12, 2004 from the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre. Dr. Kaarlo Suomela officiated. Interment Helsinki, Finland. Memorial contributions can be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, Ontario Finnish Resthome Foundation or Kotitalo or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
