It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Roman on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the Sault Area Hospital, at the age of 77, with his loving wife of 46 years, Alicja, by his side.
Roman is the beloved son of the late John and Mary Kuskowicz. Loving son-in-law of Eugenia Biala (late Wladyslaw) of Poland. Roman will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Irene Brandstetter (late Helmut), Theresa Gregory (late Douglas), and Luise Morano (late Ken). Brother-in-law of Stan and Elizabeth Bialy. Remembered also by relatives in Poland. Proud and dear uncle to Robert Brandstetter (Karen), Thomas Brandstetter, Jennifer Gernon (Mark), David Gregory (Soula), Michael Morano (Roxanne), Chris Morano (Sarah), Sarah Morano (Doug), Monica Jaskolka (Jason), Emilia Boston (Devon), Robert Bialy (Maria) and their children. Roman will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews in Poland.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish (208 Prentice Ave.) with Rev. Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation Cancer Care Fund or Holy Family Parish would be appreciated.
