Died suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, August 21, 2020, in her 86th year.
Lovely wife of the late Gerald Kowalyk. Dear mother of Bonnie Millar (Brian), late Leonard Lucas and Nancy McDonald (Gerald). Daughter to late Rolland and late Cecile Messier. Sister to the late Morris Messier (Laurette), late George Messier, Robert Messier (late Alice), late Ernie Messier, late Jeanne d'Arc Merchant, late Lucienne Lariviere (Eric), Emile Messier (Francoise), Estelle Montgomery (Stuart) and Murielle Giroux (Michel). Special nana to Andrew Millar, Shannon Miron and Brittany Alberta; special great-nana to Elena and Gabriel-Micheal Alberta. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the staff of Van Daele Extendicare for their care and compassion. At Regina's request cremation has taken place.
