Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Maple View on August 31 2024, at the age of 78.
Survived by his wife Mary Ellen Kommusaar and children Krista Brackett (Doug) and Matthew Kommusaar (Stacey). Grandfather to Morgan, Mitchell, Tiia and Aili.
Son of the late Erika and Feliks Kommusaar and brother to Kalev Kommusaar (Sylvia). Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Matt was an avid outdoorsman who found solace and joy in the simplicity of fishing and hunting. His presence was a constant on the boardwalk and rapids, where he would spend hours immersed in the serenity of his surroundings and in conversations with friends and passersby alike. He enjoyed following the activities of his grandchildren.
Matt you will be missed.
As per his wishes, there will be no services.
