(January 25-1935 to January 31-2017) - The family of Joe Knight is devastated to announce that we have lost our beloved icon. Joe has joined his son Brad in heaven where they are playing guitar and making music together again!  He leaves behind to mourn his loss, his devoted wife Pat of 61 years.  Loving Dad of Rhonda Lee Head (Larry), Rick (Sue), Terri Nelson (Derrick) and predeceased by Brad (Liette) in 2015.  Grandpa Joe to Chris (Shiela), Sarah (Lonnie), Steve (Alicia), Mathew (Michelle), Cody (Sam).  Special Joe to Rolly Miket.  Dearly loved Great-grandpa of nine.  Survived by loving sister Fran Pavelich (George).  Joe is predeceased by brother Jack (Loreen), sister Leeanne Guzzo (late Pat), and parents Gloria and Leland.  Brother in law of Wayne Lee (Audrey), Gary Lee and late Darwin Lee (Dianne).  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and special friend Richard Demers.  Joe spent many happy years playing and singing with the “Melodiers” and accumulating country fans throughout the area receiving the honour of being inducted into the local Country Music Hall of Fame. A celebration of life will be held downstairs at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 3 pm until closing time for friends and family.  Should you be joining us for the day, please feel free to bring a dish to share.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Legion or Mathews Memorial Hospital.
