Passed away peacefully on March 5, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Eleanor for 61 years and father to John (Marisa), Wayne, Bruce (Barbara) all of Sault area. Roy is predeceased by his parents William and Esther King of Streetsville, Ontario. Special Grandpa to nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Earl of British Columbia, predeceased by his sisters Grace, Mary, Mickey and Violet. Brother in law to William Holt (Brenda), Sheila Schultz (Ken), and the late Elizabeth Kohlmeier (Robert). Special thanks are extended to Amy (RN) Angella and Christine (PSW) of Bayshore for their kindness and care during Roy's illness. At Roy's request there will be no visitation only a memorial service to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Main Street in Desbarats Ontario at 2 pm on Saturday March 15, 2014. Mr. Kerry McLean officiating. Cremation services handled by Beggs funeral home in Thessalon.
