Ellen King passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Monday, February 25, 2002 in her 71st year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald King (Bucky). Dear mother of Jane Kent (Lynn). Proud grandma of Jennifer, Hillary and Patricia Kent. Sister of Rena Dumanski (Joe), Martin O'Brien (Anita) and predeceased by Bud O'Brien, Peter O'Brien (Nadine), Ida Smart (late Reid) and Roberta Lambert (late Clarence). Sister-in-law of Cleo Porcheron (Andy), Marion Finlayson and predeceased by Awilda Nisbett, Ruth Aubertin, Donald King, and Albert King. Daughter of the late Dennis and Veronica O'Brien and daughter-in-law of the late Cassie and Leo Chaput. Ellen will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, Feb 28 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Matthews Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
