Passed away peacefully at Van Daele on March 24, 2022, at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond King. Mother of Raymond Jr., Eddy King, Gloria Lormiar, Chris Ross (King-Haines) (late Shawn), Peter Haines (Cathey) and David King (Jennifer). Grandmother of Jason, Patrick, Jeremy, Dawn, Sara, Bailey, Dustin, James, Michael, Jessica, Maddison, Adam, and Matt. Great grandma of Ashlyn, Jaylyn, Evelyn, Trinity, Azaria, Alex, Adelaide, Hunter, Paisley, Thomas, Harper, Jevan and Kitana. Daughter of the late Joseph and Carlita Genereux. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Mom was a woman of strong faith that raised many children and even sponsored a few children over seas. She was a waitress at Capy’s Restaurant many moons ago where she met her soulmate, Raymond. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing and garage sales, just to name a few. She loved music and would often be seen cutting the rug. Mom shared her heart and love with everyone around her.
Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St) on Friday April 1, 2022, for a visitation from 2-3 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m. A private burial will take place.
